As we approach the Christmas period and the mid-season transfer window, managers will be under pressure and it can be seen as the perfect point in the season to bring someone new in. Not too early to be a temporary blip in form, not too late that the season can still be saved.

Gary O’Neil

Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is someone who’s under a lot of pressure right now. With their 2-1 loss to West Ham at the beginning of the week, things are getting nervy over at Molineux with the club languishing just 4 points from the relegation zone.

Despite winning just two games this season, Wolves chairman Jeff Shi has come out of the woodwork insisting that O’Neill is the right man for the job.

Julen Lopetegu

The Hammers may have come on top against Wolves earlier this week, but Spanish manager Julen Lopetegu is certainly not out of the woods himself. Fans of the East London club are not convinced that Lopetegu is the man to save the job with performances being subpar all season.

All is not well behind the scenes with several fallouts and a potential mutiny being reported. West Ham owners are purportedly demanding that these squabbles are fixed or the Spaniard will be seeing the door.

Rumour has it that Graham Potter is being lined up for the job.

Ange Postecoglou

Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou is the third one in the pecking order to be leaving their club. The Greek-Australian manager was all too happy to publicly lay into striker Timo Werner regarding his recent performance against Rangers but such an outburst is not always well received.

Tottenham may have dismantled Manchester City 4-0 back in November, but it’s been 5 games since then and they haven’t won any of those.

Then again, everybody beats Man City these days...
